Apple on Wednesday announced three advanced security features it says focus on protecting users' data in the cloud from threats, a new effort to give users stronger ways to protect their data.
The American tech giant said in its blog that the three features include: iMessage Contact Key Verification, Security Keys for Apple ID, and Advanced Data Protection for iCloud. ].
Apple explained that by using the Call Key Verification feature in iMessage, users can verify that they are only communicating with the people they want, and with the Apple ID Security Key feature, they can choose to require a physical security key to sign in with an Apple account.
